Statement from USATF Nebraska re: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

After Gov. Rickett’s April 2nd press conference concerning activities banded because of the coronavirus, USATF Nebraska will not be sanctioning any meets in the month of May. We will continue to monitor this situation from a club sports perspective and see where we are at the end of May.

Scot Rainbolt, USATF Nebraska president

USATF Nebraska has been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We know some clubs have had their building use permits suspended for practices and meets, and are concerned about the Youth track season. The Association and Regional meets in June and July are still on. Decisions to hold developmental meets and club practices are up to each club. We will continue to monitor this situation and give weekly updates. The best place to get the latest information is the Association website.
