Angee (Henry) NottAngee (Henry) Nott, of Plattsmouth, finished first in a Masters Division 400-meter race at the recent USATF Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, California. Nott, 41, crossed the finish line of the Women’s Masters event in 57.11 seconds. Her mark was the top time of any Masters Division female athlete in the nation this year. Angee is a Bellevue West High School and University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate. As a youth, she competed for the Cornhusker Flyers Track Club, and now competes for Nebraska Run Guru Elite. Angee (Henry) NottAngee (Henry) Nott, of Plattsmouth, made her return to the Nebraska Association a memorable evening in May. Now representing Nebraska Run Guru Elite, Inc., Angee traveled to Georgia as part of a quartet that set the 40-44 American Record 48.63 in the 4×100 meter relay at the Atlanta International Relays on May 28th. “We as a group went out there to finish what we started at Penn Relays. There was no doubt in our minds that we could do it. 25 minutes later running the two was not conducive for lower the 200 meter record but I walked away with a masters win..looking forward to USA meet.”, said Angee. “Angee is a Nebraska athletics icon and we are proud that she has selected to represent Nebraska Run Guru Elite as she pursues the association and national record books” said NRGE President Linda Kunasek. Nebraska Run Guru Elite, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) established to advocate for post collegiate athletes and is sponsored by the Lincoln Marathon. (6/5/2017)
